Sometimes, there’s a grave need for additional knowledge, outside of the collegiate spectrum… So having skipped my US history class, earlier today, I was given an additional hour and 45 minutes before work to idly waste at the local used bookstore. Unfortunately nothing compared to the antique shop from The NeverEnding Story, there were too many hints of it being Christian owned…
However, I didn’t leave empty handed. What I would deem as a formidable collection, yet nothing compared to recent finds by The Esoteric Gentlemen’s Club, I left today with three softcovers for less than $10:
The Amityville Horror: A True Story by Jay Anson
28 days of terror in a house possessed by evil spirits
Song of the Endless Night by John Farris
The first really worthy successor to Blatty’s The Exorcist
The Fury by John Farris
Nothing has prepared you for it. Nothing can protect you from it.
